This list is a few things you should check and undertake for your Autumn Home Maintenance.
Check & Clear all of your gutters – As the Auckland still gets rain over the summer months, so having clean & clear gutters means that the water from your roof is carried easily away from your roof. Get your flue cleaned – for those with a fireplace, getting the flue cleaned and cleaning your fireplace is essential to an efficient and clean working fireplace ready for use over the winter months.
Garden Maintenance Prune back any trees or shrubs and plant any seeds or bulbs
Check your smoke detector A great time to do this is aligning it to Daylight Savings
Check your window and door seals In preparation for winter make sure all of your windows and doors are closing properly. Clear out any drainage channels and holes.
