When recladding a home, it’s an ideal time to re-think the overall look of a property – inside and out. This light-filled Whangaparaoa home has been enhanced and modernised throughout.
When you have a home that has been identified to have water tightness issues, then having it re-clad is the logical decision to make, as it means you can sell for a better price. It’s also a good time to consider both the exterior look, and how internal spaces work, to remodel a property into a home that’s more stylish and also more functional.
The original Whangaparaoa home was very dated and our clients desired a more modernised look. LC Designer Homes presented options for new cladding materials, as well as discussing the look and feel that our clients desired. The next step was to create a concept design that not only incorporated the new cladding, but also included updates to some of the openings and a new roofline to enhance the modernised look.
Reconfiguring the openings has enhanced the natural light inside the property. Adding external lighting to the building itself has created a warm, light-filled home that welcomes visitors night and day.
Once the design was signed off and consents received, the construction team at LC Designer Homes completed the recladding and building work
